Finally a week before the shoot Asin has confirmed for the first time that she is going to play heroine in Vijay’s new Tamil film to be directed by Siddique.
Remember that the actress had given a quote or statement that she is officially a part of the Vijay film. This family entertainer is a ...remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard which had Dileep and Nayanthara, and the shoot of the film will start in Chennai from April 1.
Speaking first to sify.com from Mumbai Asin said: “I’m doing a Tamil film after nearly three years, with Vijay again. The film is to be directed by Siddique and is being produced by Sivaraju Venkatraju of Geetha Chitra International.”
Asin’s last release in Tamil was Dasavatharam with Kamal Hassan in 2008. Says Asin : “ It is great to be back. I’m looking forward to work with Vijay again, who is a great co-star and a good friend. This is our third movie together and it should be loads of fun.”
