Listen friends, Poonam Pandey is never going to strip for you, we mean, for the public. She had already said that she would never strip on screen. However, now she has dropped a bombshell by saying that she declared about her stripping just for fun. This means that, she would never strip even after a thumping Indian win in the finals of the World Cup.

It is clear that Poonam is taking cover under the ‘Indian culture’ saying that she would never be allowed to do so as she is an Indian girl. She herself said that she has done this just for the fun of it. But it was the people who took everything seriously. Now isn’t that going back on her words? How was anyone to know that what she was doing was only out of fun and that it should not be read seriously?

Poonam was dying to come into limelight and it was proved when she said that she opened a fan page on Facebook. Well nothing wrong in that. However, she was not satisfied only with that. It seemed that she wanted more than just that. That is exactly why she came up with the idea of stripping after an Indian win.

Now, when she herself calls all this an idea, what is left for us to speak? But there were a couple of repercussions – she became the most Googled name on the Internet and certainly became an household name in India.

The news about Poonam Pandey is far from over even when the celebrations of the Indian victory in the World Cup might have died down. Those who know about Poonam’s promise to strip nude for celebrating a possible Indian victory, are demanding Poonam keeps her promise. However yet, there is nothing from Poonam’s side as yet.

First she said that she would strip only in the dressing room of the Indian players. Later, she said she would strip in France. And now, in one of her latest statements she says that she will not strip onscreen. No wonder, people have come to know about her game plan.

Poonam only wanted to cash in on the World Cup hype and the fact that India had reached the finals. Well, after all, she got what she wanted. She wanted everyone to take her name; she got various offers from Bollywood and even found a place in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 4.

Poonam still sticks to her decision that she did not declare going nude for cheap publicity. On the contrary, she says that she did all that for her nation. The 19-year old model still believes that whatever has happened during the past couple of weeks (her coming out openly about stripping) will not hamper her dreams of being a successful actress.

According to her, she has been getting various offers for item songs from Bollywood.

Poonam Pandey will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 4

Poonam Pandey might not have kept her promise of stripping after Indian win in the World Cup. However, she will make an appearance at the fourth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. This season will be hosted by Akshay Kumar, who also hosted the first two seasons of the reality show.

Stripping or no stripping for Poonam Pandey, but that made her famous for sure. Everyone was taking her name as much as that of M S Dhoni or even Sachin Tendulkar for that matter. She was offered to appear in the reality show and she did oblige.

There will be in all 13 contestants in the show. Some of these personalities are well known while some will obviously become famous through the show. Some of the female constants include V J Bani – the lady with whom Shahid Kapoor was linked (or not linked rather), former cricketer Anju Chopra. There will also be reality show singer – the famous Mauli Dave apart from models Alesia Raut and Diandra Soares. Bollywood actress, the hot Kashmera Shah and Aarti Chhabria will also make it to the show. Dina Umarova – Vindoo Dara Singh's wife will also be seen.

Poonam Pandey hospitalized for kidney stones operation

Poonam Pandey has been hospitalized for the operation of her kidney stones. The information was given by Poonam’s publicist. The info also says that she was admitted in the hospital on Monday – April 4. If things go according to the hospital sources, then she may be discharged on Tuesday – today.

Her publicist also said that she will show up once she is alright. Stripping or no stripping, but Poonam is certainly in the news these days. She has been mouthing about stripping for Team India if they won the 2011 World Cup. After India’s win when all were waiting for her to show herself off in her birthday suit, she was nowhere to be seen.

Her mobile phone was also switched off and could not be contacted. Then she made a request to strip out of India to avoid controversies here. And now, this is the latest about her – being hospitalized and undergoing an operation.

It feels very odd to imagine if she will ever strip at all or is she just buying her time and wants the storm to settle down regarding her stripping promise. Ever since India won the final match against Sri Lanka, Poonam Pandey’s phone has been switched off. This tells the story that, after the Indian win, the pressure on Poonam grew and there was a demand from mostly the netizens that Poonam keep her promise.
She had even written a later to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that she would like to strip for the boys which would help them perform better. But in one of the latest developments, she has asked the BCCI to let her choose a different country to let her strip. Poonam prefers Paris, France to strip once and for all.
