This was a jocular statement that was commented by actor Vijay during his recent interaction with media channels. It was at that time when the questions were raised on the delayed release of ‘Kaavalan’. Said Vijay: ‘We started shooting before few months and wanted to wrap up the schedules lately this month as we planned to release the movie for Diwali. But Asin had to keep herself from this project due to her constant shooting for a Hindi film in Mumbai, nearly for couple of months. I had no options and thus kick-started by other film ‘Velayudham’. But we promise as a team that ‘Kaavalan’ will be a splendiferous treat for universal audiences.”
On her turn, Asin added that she was looking for a great script to make her comeback in Tamil film industry and this one was something that swept her on senses. ‘We have already streaked with success in ‘Sivakasi’ and ‘Pokkiri’. This time, it will be a hat-trick for sure.’
