Mr. Perfectionist wowed us tremendously with his previous movies that went to make records in Chennai Box Office that includes – ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘3 Idiots’. His wife Kiran Rao makes her debut directorial with the movie ‘Dhobi Ghat’ that has already gained international recognition. The film revolves around 4 characters – a Dhobi, Banker, Artist and a Muslim wife. The characters come across each other influencing their lives to an extent that they themselves might have not expected.
Since the film is made at a relatively lower budget when compared to Aamir Khan’s previous movies, he has decided to release it at limited screens. But then ‘Aamir Khan’ factor has kept everyone’s expectations higher.
In Chennai, the film opens in few screens as most of the major theatres are occupied by recent Pongal releases – ‘Kaavalan’, ‘Siruthai’ and ‘Aadukalam’ that are doing well in box office now.
