Composer A R Rahman will be attending the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland, where he will receive the Crystal Award for his achievements in the world of art and music. Rahman will be in the company of over 2,500 participants from over 11 countries representing business leaders, heads of governments and states, academicians, artists and faith leaders. Home Minister P Chidambaram, Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma, Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath and Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel along with Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia will participate in the meeting. CII, a partner of the Geneva-based WEF, is taking a 130- member delegation which includes Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharti Mittal of Bharti Enterprises and others. The five-day meeting will start from January 26.
