Sources close to the actress have revealed that she has added on a few kilos to suit the role of a married woman for this film.

The storyline of ‘Karungali’ deals with how net savvy present day couples are and how destructive it can become if not used wisely. The film is also believed to showcase how relationships can be misused and how people misuse their relationship to threaten and blackmail the family.
Anjali is believed to have revealed that she has done her bit of homework in researching about certain aspects based on this theme which have proved very useful for her in playing her character in the film successfully.
