In response to Sivaji's phenomenal success worldwide, AVM productions have decided to dub the movie in Hindi! Director Shankar and music composer A.R.Rahman have agreed to this. The tamil version of Sivaji has racked up to Rs 1.5 crore so far from North India. This is at least 8-10 times of what a regular Tamil movie makes in a North Indian market. It is running successfully at 5 screens in Delhi, 8 in Mumbai and 3 in Kolkata. Meanwhile, Ayngaran International, which has the overseas rights for Sivaji, is planning to dub the movie in Chinese and Japanese languages!Sivaji invokes, explicitly and subtly, the much-contested legacy of MGR. In doing so, it presents a popular political message that has further facilitated the success of the film – and cannot be ignored.
To his legions of fans, Mr. Rajnikanth is the perfect candidate to claim MGR’s unrivaled legacy. But whether that will come to pass is an altogether different story. Towards the end of the film, Sivaji is asked: “Are you the CM?” He replies with the expected ambiguity: “No, I’m the PM – the postman. I just give the poor their money back.”

The latest buzz about Sivaji is that Mauritius President Sir Anerood Jugnauth watched a special screening of the movie in Chennai on July 4th! He was accompanied by his wife , the chennai distributors of the movie Abirami Ramanathan and Nalammai Ramanathan. The movie was screened at Four Frames preview theaters at around 4 PM. The President expressed his admiration for the movie!
Sivaji beats Hollywood movies in collection records! In England, it was released on June 15th. Of the 12 shows,Sivaji grossed 167,607 pounds with an average of 14,050 pounds! This is a record when compared to other Hollywood movies' average collection

It is estimated that the movie has grossed over 25 crores during the first week! The movie is expected to gross over 150 crores in Ticket sales alone! Sivaji has been released in 12 theaters in Britain and has grossed Rs.13.6 million, one of the biggest collection ever made by an Indian movie!
Yash Raj's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was released on the same day of Sivaji's release. But the movie flopped big time even though it had enviable star cast of Amitabh Bachan, Abhishek Bachan, Priety Zinta, Larra Dutta and Bobby Deol!
Chicago theaters were filled with rajni fans several hours before the airing of the show, which was like a mega mela! It was surprising to see some toddlers(forth generation Rajni fans) watching the movie with great enthusiasm! It surely was a fun-filled and memorable day for every Rajni fan worldwide!

There is no spoiler alert for this review since I'm not going to discuss about the story. If you are looking for a full-time entertainer, watch Sivaji, an action based family entertainer. It is sure to win audiences of all ages! The first half is full of humor and love while the second half is packed with great action! With that being said, the entire movie swirls around one man, Rajni - The Boss!
How many days have passed since we saw Rajni in such a stylish performance! His new styles with chewing gum are cool. The good old Rajni times are back! His dialogue delivery and mannerisms are beyond comparison! Did we talk about Amitabh vs Rajni earlier? Now we have reached a conclusion!
It was good to see a huge crowd of Thalaivar's fans in the US. It was like a festival! A.R.Rahman's music rhythms well with the story and he has used different background scores throughout the movie! Even the original soundtrack for SuperStar title has changed! Songs fit just right into the movie! Every song has a theme and the sets are amazing! How can I not talk about "Oru Koodai Moonlight"? It has a very different theme and makeup! Athiradi song is the highlight! Watch out for his great avatars before the song!
Shriya Saran looks gorgeous and has given a splendid performance! Movie includes a long star cast but each one of them have served their purpose. Vivek's comment about punch dialogues is so true! Sujatha's dialogues are crisp. Dialogues such as "Pera ketta Chumma Athiruthula? ", "Sivajiyum Naan Thaan MGRum Naan Thaan", "Kon Hai? Boss da Kena" are worth mentioning! Shankar has fully utilized his lifetime opportunity of directing a SuperStar and has achieved great success in the process! This is a Rajni movie with Shankar's touch! Sivaji is truly "The Boss" and is sure to run successfully for another 3 years or maybe more! Watch it in theaters, don't dare to miss it!

1 day until superstar Rajnikanth's blockbuster Sivaji release. Former Andra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu watched the movie with Rajnikanth on a special screening. Rajni has invited Andra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajashekar Reddy to watch the movie on Thursday evening. Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha watches the movie on Thursday.
2 days until Sivaji' release and here comes a hot debate on Rajni Vs Amitabh from CNN-IBN. They don't seem to come to a conclusion but the debate is quite interesting. In the second part of the video they show a poll result where Rajni wins the race with 52% votes against Amitabh with 48%. The first part includes some cool comparisons(Amitabh's latest movie gained 6 crores while Rajni's Chandramukhi gained 60 crores!). This debate would definitely come to an end after Sivaji's release!
