Trisha in Gautham Menon's Movie!
Vaaranam Ayiram, Gautham Menon's upcoming movie includes Surya and Genelia in the lead. Kuthu Ramya(now Divya) and Daniel Balaji are also in the cast. Harris Jayaraj has teamed up with Gautham Menon again and this would be their 7th movie together! The duo has come up with great musical hits earlier! Vaaranam Ayiram is currently on hold, since Surya is busy with Hari's Vel. Gautham Menon has rescheduled the project to September. In the meantime, the director has decided to produce and direct a new movie starring new faces and Trisha on the lead. It is believed that A.R.Rahman would render the music! This would be Gautham and A.R.Rahman's first venture!

Times are changing and there are some exceptions to the above! These Star kids have determined to follow their own path to success!
Rajni's younger daughter Soundarya studied at the Edith Cowan University in Perth and completed a certification course on Art, Design and Multimedia from Central Tafe, Australia. She owns Ocher studios and is currently producing Sultan, an animation film starring Rajnikanth! This will be in collaboration with Anil Ambani's Adlabs. This is Ocher's second production, first one being Chandramukhi(Title graphics).
Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruthi made her singing debut in Thevar Magan(Pottri Paadadi Penne). She then continued her studies and fetched a degree in music. In a recent interview on Ananda Vikatan she expressed her willingness to pursue an acting career! She is confident about her decision and lets wait and watch, fingers crossed!
Surya, son of yesteryear's star Sivakumar made his debut in Vasanth's Nerukku Ner. Though he faced some initial failures, he proved his acting caliber in movies such as Nandha, Kakka Kakka and Ghajini. Now he is one of the leading actors in tamil film industry! Yuvan Shankar Raja, son of Maestro Ilayaraja made is debut in Sarathkumar's Aravindan. Movie was an average flick but music was a huge hit making him an overnight star! Vel is a forthcoming Tamil movie directed by Hari. Surya and Asin take up the lead roles. Surya plays a dual role for the second time after Perazhagan. This will be his second movie under Hari's direction, first one being Aaru. Music is composed by Yuvan shankar Raja. Movie's shooting schedules started on June 2nd, 2007. Vel will be shot at the southern districts of South India.
