Vijay and Trisha in Kuruvi

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's forthcoming film 'Kuruvi' is directed by Dharani. Dharani, who directed Vijay's blockbuster 'Gilli' is planning to retain Trisha for this project too. Gilli was a remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Okkadu'. Kuruvi' s crew is planning to launch the movie on Pillayar Chathurthi. In the meantime, the crew is busy with the photo shoot in Hyderabad. Kuruvi' s shooting will commence after the completion of Vijay's 'Azhagiya Thamizh Magan'. Kuruvi is produced by Udhayanidhi.

Vijay's B'day Special

Vijay celebrated his birthday on June 22nd with his family and fans! Speaking to pressmen, he expressed his willingness to act with SuperStar Rajnikanth if given an opportunity! He also added that he enjoyed watching Sivaji and he was greatly impressed with Rajni's styles. Vijay's next movie Azhagiya Thamizh Magan is expected to be released in August 2007!

In a recent interview on Ananda Vikatan she expressed her willingness to pursue an acting career! She is confident about her decision and lets wait and watch, fingers crossed!
Surya, son of yesteryear's star Sivakumar made his debut in Vasanth's Nerukku Ner. Though he faced some initial failures, he proved his acting caliber in movies such as Nandha, Kakka Kakka and Ghajini. Now he is one of the leading actors in tamil film industry! His star studded wedding with actress Jyothika increased his star value!
Yuvan Shankar Raja, son of Maestro Ilayaraja made is debut in Sarathkumar's Aravindan. Movie was an average flick but music was a huge hit making him an overnight star! Ilaya Thalabathi Vijay's forthcoming movie Azhagiya Thamizh Magan is directed by Bharathan and produced by Swagachitra Appachan. This is Bharathan's directorial debut while he has worked as an Assistant Director and Dialogue writer for many movies including Ghilli. Shriya Saran has paired with Vijay for the first time! Shriya received many offers after she has been cast as Rajini's leading lady in Sivaji and this is one among them!
