To quit acting after Pitha?

Though her debut flick Veerasekaran did not do well at the box office, Amala Paul shot to limelight for her controversial role in Sindhu Samaveli and later earned laurels for starring in the blockbuster film Myna.
Since then there was no looking back for Amala as she is being flooded with plum offers in Kollywood. The actress is currently playing an important role in Pitha wherein she shares the screen space with Vikram and Anushka.
Despite good offers that many actresses would envy, Amala has decided to quit acting as she is keen on pursuing higher studies and feels that acting is a hindrance to achieving this goal. Therefore, she has decided to quit acting for now and concentrate in studies.
