A few days back, the Tamil film Producers Council ordered a name change for the movies 'Kettavan', 'Polladhavan' and 'Porukki'. Polladhavan's producer Kadhiresan explained that SuperStar Rajnikanth has already done a movie by this name and the title is not defamatory. The council accepted this explanation and the crew continued its project. On the other hand, Simbu explained that his title 'Kettavan' emerged from 'Pennaal Kettavan' and it was not meant to be abusive in nature! Meanwhile Sakthi Chidambaram(producer of 'Porukki') has agreed to change the title of his movie!Simbu to retain the title 'Kettavan'
