Vambu Sandai features Uday Kiran, Diya and Sathyaraj on the lead. The audio for the movie was launched on August 18th, in Chennai. Uday Kiran, a leading star in the Telugu film industry made his debut in kollywood through K.Balachander's 'Poi'. This would be his second venture in Tamil. Uday Kiran's leading lady Diya made her debut in Tamil movie 'Kurumbu' directed by Vishnuvardhan. Veteran actor Sathyaraj needs no introduction! His different get-ups in the movie, especially the 'Kathakali' pose is quite amazing! Vambu Sandai is directed by Raj Kapoor and the music is scored by Imman.
