Ajith's forthcoming movie Kireedam is directed by debutant director A.L.Vijay. This movie is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Kireedam starring Mohan Lal. A.L.Vijay has done an innovative ad campaign for Chennai silks.
Kireedam is the story of a brave young man who is determined to fight against all odds to fulfill his father's (a constable) dream of seeing his son become a Police Officer. Trisha plays as his love interest. Raj Kiran plays Ajith's father in the movie while Saranya acts as his mother.
This movie is a joint venture of Sujatha Cine Arts and Anil Ambani's Ad labs. Kireedam's audio will be released on either 27th or 29th of this month.
Kireedam was shot mostly in Rajmundry and Chennai. The movie will be released on 29th of this month clashing with Sivaji's release!
