TV shows : Mekala

Mekala is a new Tamil serial on Sun TV airing Monday - Friday from 7.30 PM to 8.00 PM. The main cast includes Metti Oli Gayatri, Yugendran, Rajashree, Deepan Chakravarthy, Vadivukkarasi, Kuyili, SriVidya and Vinuchakravarthy. It is produced by "Metti Oli" fame Siddiq. I saw the trailer, they have shot some scenes in Malaysia too. The tiltle song "Boomikku Mugavari Pennale" sung by Shreya Ghoshal has been pictured well. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics for Vijay Antony's composition. The title "Mekala" written with rice on a green leaf is a touch of classic! With Bhaskar Shankar's dialogues and Vikramathithan' direction the initial episodes have come out well. Lets see what Mekala has in store for us in the upcoming episodes!
