Kamal Haasan plays 10 different characters in Dasavatharam. George Bush is one among them. According to Dasavatharam crew, the role of George Bush was a key character in the storyline. A specially skilled makeup artist from the US is donning him up for this role. Scenes featuring Kamal as Bush were being shot in the White House, which is recreated in Chennai Film City. Thotta Tharani is the man behind this astounding work, who has recently worked for Sivaji's exclusive sets! Recently Superstar Rajnikanth paid a surprise visit to the sets and he expressed his admiration for it. He also had a chat with Kamal for about 30 minutes. Kamal also portrays a female dwarf character as well as a giant male character in the movie. As a matter of fact, Kamal Haasan has already portrayed four different characters for the movie Michael Madhana Kama Rajan, which was released in 1991! The movie was a classic comedy and it did a good business at the box office. Dasavatharam is scheduled to be completed in the following month and the release date would be decided after the post production work.

The movie also has a high profile star cast including Asin, Jaya Pradha and Mallika Sherawat. They are planning to recreate white Kamal, similar to Rajni in Oru Koodai Moonlight song from Sivaji. Seven makeup artists have been selected from abroad to accomplish this task!

Director K.S.Ravikumar has planned to include Tsunami scenes for which Thota Tharani has created an artificial sea covering 2 acres in Royapuram area. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 15, 2007.
