Srikanth compromises with Vandhana

Actor Srikanth and Vandana entered into a wedlock in a temple at Kakinada on February 7, 2007. A few days later, Srikanth applied for a divorce due to irreconcilable differences. In the meantime members from both the families had a meeting and have signed a memorandum of compromise. Talking to the press, Srikanth happily announced that he his going to live with his wife Vandana. The actor also added that he has overcome all traumas and have decided to lead a peaceful life in the future. The couple is also planning to throw a huge social reception in the near future. Srikanth has also had a lift career wise, the actor is signed up for two new movies!

Srikanth restrained from evicting his wife

The Madras High Court restrained Tamil actor Srikanth from evicting his wife Vandana from his residence. Justice V.Ramasubramanian passed the interim order on a suit filed by Vandana to this effect. Vandana and Srikanth married in a temple at Kakinada on February 7, 2007. The marriage was registered in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh according to Hindu Marriage Act. The formal wedding was arranged on June 18th. On June 14, Srikanth lodged a complaint stating that she had trespassed into his house on June 13. In the meantime, she filed the present suit. The judge said that the marriage between Vandana and Srikanth is valid, as otherwise he could not have filed a petition for divorce. Hence the status of Vandana as wife of Srikanth cannot be in doubt at present. He added that this status gives her the right to live in his house till the marriage was dissolved.
