Karan's upcoming movie Thee Nagar is directed by Thirumalai. Karan, who was concentrating on character roles made a debut as a hero in Kokki. The movie was a massive hit making him an instant star! His second movie Karuppusamy Kuthagaitharar also did well at the box office, fetching him good offers. Thee Nagar is one such offer and Karan plays as an out of college youth. UdayaTara plays as the leading lady. She made her debut in Kannum Kannum opposite Prasanna which is yet to be released.
