Vaaranam Ayiram, Gautham Menon's upcoming movie includes Surya and Genelia in the lead. Kuthu Ramya(now Divya) and Daniel Balaji are also in the cast. Harris Jayaraj has teamed up with Gautham Menon again and this would be their 7th movie together! The duo has come up with great musical hits earlier! Vaaranam Ayiram is currently on hold, since Surya is busy with Hari's Vel. Gautham Menon has rescheduled the project to September. In the meantime, the director has decided to produce and direct a new movie starring new faces and Trisha on the lead. It is believed that A.R.Rahman would render the music! This would be Gautham and A.R.Rahman's first venture!
